The world we want  Young women, girls, and trans*youth are the experts of their own reality.  They have the voice, agency, visibility, resources, and opportunities they need to create lasting change in their communities and help build a more just and sustainable world.

The Problem  Young feminist organizers offer critical new perspectives and insight that help galvanize and sustain global and local social justice movements. Too often however, their leadership is undervalued, unrecognized, and untrusted, leaving them with less access to funding and strategy-setting roles.   This reduces the power and vibrancy of movements and organizations globally, leaving us entrenched in traditional leadership styles and systems and missing out on alternative energies and talents.  This problem is also mirrored in philanthropic spaces, where legacies and modes of operating from past generations is still the norm— this includes hierarchical leadership of older generations, lack of transparency and power imbalances between donors and grantee recipients.

THE SOLUTION  When young feminist organizers are provided with the resources, leadership opportunities and capacities they need, radical shifts to movements’ landscapes and social change trajectories occur.
