Stop the violence before it’s too late

Grantee / Bosnia and Herzegovina

This is an emerging group of “samethinkers”, that started with some sporadic activities in early 2015. The members discovered each other through seminars and other educational spaces that they took part in. They wish to reach as many young women and girls as possible in order to transfer their knowledge so far and to continue learning, raising and fighting together. The group’s mission is to promote and advocate for a life without violence. As majority of group members are lawyers  with skills and experience in legal aid provision, they offer free legal assistance on the field of protection from violence against women and girls and other marginalized and vulnerable groups.

One of the biggest achievement of this group has been that the girls and young women from different parts of the country have joined hands and want to work together. “Since we are a group of young women working for the same goals and that is to promote and advocated for life without violence, we wanted to do together what we have achieved. Our geographic distance did not prevent us to come together and share our knowledge and skills.” and the group takes pride in that.
