In recent years, FRIDA has been fortunate to experience rapid growth in staff size, due to a growing budget and increasing grantmaking and other activities. As we have entered a new Strategic Plan, a rising priority is to ensure that our internal systems and structures stay relevant and adequate to FRIDA’s increased size, and that all staff members are able to thrive and grow within FRIDA.

A key part of this process is to strengthen our Human Resources capacity, and to continue to build our internal Human Resources policies, procedures and systems, in line with staff needs and with FRIDA’s feminist values. This position will support the Senior HR Officer and the HR Manager with key day-to-day HR work, based on staff needs and the specific nature of a virtual workplace, in line with FRIDA’s feminist values.

This role is primarily a generalist position within HR – a large portion of this role’s capacity will be dedicated to ensuring Human Resources meets its overall work plan, with a focus on administrative duties and support to staff recruitment processes. This person would need to have a strong attention to detail and a ‘duty of care’ to the staff, communities, and organization during this time and beyond. We seek someone with a commitment to supporting and promoting young feminist leadership at FRIDA.
