Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation Associate

FRIDA is in a period of organizational learning and consolidation. As we implement our 2020-2025 Strategic Plan, a core priority is organizational development (OD), to ensure that our internal systems and structures stay relevant to FRIDA’s increased size, that all staff members are able to thrive and grow within FRIDA, that we continue to build feminist organizational cultures, and that FRIDA remains accountable to diverse young feminist movements. A key part of this process is to strengthen our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) capacity, and to ensure that MEL at FRIDA is reaching its full potential. The associate will work as part of a team providing MEL support to initiatives at all stages in the impact pipeline while strengthening FRIDA’s learning culture. Reporting to the Sr. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning officer, the MEL associate will be an important member of the MEL team and work collaboratively with colleagues across FRIDA. The associate’s primary responsibilities include:

  • Assist with manual data entry, manual data cleanup initiatives, administration, and management
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of our data by ensuring entries made into our platform are accurate.
  • Assist the Sr. MEL officer with routine maintenance of the Salesforce, Impact Mapper, and or any of the other platforms FRIDA uses.
  • Assisting with basic qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and contributing to reports where needed.
  • Participate and/or support in building FRIDA community capacity in MEL, raise awareness and appreciation for MEL, and support in building a culture of learning.

We strongly encourage applications from young women from the global majority (i.e. women of color) under the age of 28. FRIDA does not limit ‘women’ to cisgender or binary-identified people. Applications are welcome from those who are trans, gender fluid, and/or intersex. FRIDA also encourages applications from individuals with disabilities.
We thank all who apply, but only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. FRIDA encourages, promotes, and supports diversity in all aspects of its work.

Deadline to apply: 7 January 2022
