Adity is an advocate from Nepal, currently residing in Thailand. She a double Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Law (BA.LLB) and a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Democratization. She has been working in the human rights sector for past four years. She started working as a Programme Officer for a peace
monitoring project in Nepal in 2016. She has worked as Researcher to support Fact based analysis on 2011 UPR Recommendations to Nepal. In 2015, She worked as research assistant to produce a disaster risk reduction report on Nepal Earthquake 2015. And in 2018, as part of my Master’s thesis she
researched on Undereproting of Rape in Indonesia. She have two specific legal training on human rights:
1) Training of Lawyers on International Human Rights Litigation, and
2) Capacity Building Training on
Litigating Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
Working with regional human rights organisation like FORUM ASIA and APWLD, she found her connected with the work of human rights and the women
rights movement. She believes in doing her bit towards the change our world needs. In her free time, she like reading, translating poems, taking a scooter ride, and gazing at clouds One day she will write that fiction novel she has always dreamed of. She speaks Fluent Nepali, English and a little bit of Hindi.
