Spirit Companion: Panda

Favourite quote: I think almost everyone tries hard to do good, and just finds out too late they should have tried softer – Andrea Gibson

Amanda is a queer feminist activist who has, for the past 8 years, organised with various movements and organisations advocating for sexual rights broadly. As a narrative change practitioner their work centres on developing, uncovering and co-creating the tools and practices necessary to design, build and embody non-normative societies, futures and states of being. As a student of energy work they are interested in nervous system and energy healing and regulating as a tool for social justice and liberation of the spiritmindbody. Amanda spends a lot of time thinking and talking about love as praxis, and how to give and receive love from a place of freedom, as opposed to a place of transaction. They are an excellent plant parent and proud to report that they are currently, and solidly, on the actual reading end of the ‘buying books and reading books are two different hobbies’ spectrum.spirit animal is a panda
