Barbora’s educational background includes a BA in English Language and Literature, BA in Political Science and International Relations, and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Masaryk University, Czech Republic. After learning way more than necessary about political parties in Europe, she went to study Public and International Affairs with focus on development and human security at the University of Pittsburgh, USA. Barbora held different jobs in the field of international development, ranging from the Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program in DC to the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center in Mexico and a humanitarian organization based in the Czech Republic. She’s now back at her alma mater, working in the field of international education, where she is, among other things, responsible for admissions of international students. Barbora is fluent in Czech, English, Slovak and a little bit of French and Spanish. She also knows how to say “Little Red Riding Hood” in Latin. She tweets as @czechbar.
