While she was studying Environmental Engineering at the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica (TEC) for two years, she became co-founder and member of the Feminist Commission of the TEC. Currently, she is studying General Studies at the Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED). Outside of University, She volunteered for the Costa Rican Red Cross and also worked as a children’s dance teacher and choreographer. She speaks Spanish & English.
