Spirit Companion: The Spider- the creator and intricate weaver.

Favorite Quote: As a kid, when I faced a problem, big or small, my dad would say: “para que hemos venido a este mundo? A resolver.” This roughly translates to: “we have been placed on earth to come up with solutions.” I carry this positive mantra with me every day.

She is a community engagement designer, feminist researcher and multimedia artist. She currently works with the Ontario Council for International Cooperation (OCIC) managing the Community Engagement portfolio. This includes co-creating multimedia stories of change with local and global partners, advancing youth-led advocacy and policy solutions, and building skills for sustainable development. She holds a degree in International Development & Gender Studies from Trent University, where I contributed to feminist and community-based research with the Aging Activisms Research Collective. In her spare time she loves hearing the life stories of the rad womxn in her life and those that came before me. A recent transformative experience for her, was contributing to a sound-mapping project exploring journeys of migration with the Dabke Collective. She speaks Spanish and English.
