Kajal is a queer identifying intersectional feminist with a postgraduate degree in Sociology from South Asian University, New Delhi. Currently they are working as an independent researcher with interests in gender, urban spaces, religion, minority studies, and disability studies. Kajal has worked with several feminist and queer organisations and is always looking to build safe spaces for the queer community through their activist engagements. They have also worked with Xavier’s Resource Centre, Mumbai on projects on inclusive education models. They believe in bringing a change through multitude of mediums and think that no action is too small. They have a keen interest in exploring the
intersectional ways in which queer spaces can be studied while contributing to critically reimagine queer activism around the world. When not going through academic journals, they can be found fiddling with a camera, taking portraits of friends. They speak English, Hindi, and is learning French.
