Spirit Companion: According to BuzzFeed it’s an otter :/ even though I don’t know what that means :D. I’m more comfortable with the Turtle 🐢

Favourite Quote: “A tree has roots in the soil yet reaches to the sky. It tells us that in order to aspire we need to be grounded and that no matter how high we go, it is from our roots that we draw sustenance.” – Wangari Maathai

She is a computer scientist and radical feminist who is fascinated by the potential of technology and innovation to “fix” the world [if done right]. She is also a girls and women’s rights defender with a vast experience in community organizing & engagement for behavioral change. In recent years, her pursuit for digital solutions has shed some light on the inequalities and problems with the tech infrastructures and systems that the world  has,  and her activism has been focused on advocating for fairer technology and more equitable access to digital spaces.

She likes  to spend her  spare time listening to podcasts and audiobooks or binge-watching dramedies. She also loves to explore different cuisines and play around with recipes and flavors in her kitchen. She speaks Portuguese, English, A little bit of Spanish and HTML & Python ☺
