Maimuna currently serves as Communications Officer for The Gambia National
Audit Office, and has over the years with a private institution and
Non-Governmental Organizations worked on global communications, good
governance, democracy and women empowerment. As a final year Political
Science student at the University of The Gambia and a certificate in Gender andDevelopment holder, Maimuna is constantly involved in growth professionally andpersonally through trainings and online courses.

Maimuna also served as the first Hult prize Foundation Campus Director at her
university, bringing a global opportunity to young Gambians to help solve the
most pressing issues in her society. She recently co-founded a feminist collective working in The Gambia called Equals Now.
