Ngozi Cole is a feminist, a communications for development professional and freelance writer. As a writer covering gender, human rights and culture, her work has been featured in Culture Trip, Brittle Paper, Afreada, Patriotic Vanguard, Inter Press Service and Women’s Media Center. She is a recipient of the 2018 media fellowship with the Young Feminist Fund (FRIDA), where she reported on abortion rights in Latin America, sexuality education in Ghana and raising the next generation of feminists in Sierra Leone. As a communications professional, she works with organizations in partnerships and strategic communications, focusing on communications strategies and tools for development. She is the founder of Poda-Poda Stories, a Sierra Leonean digital literary journal. She has a BA (Cum Laude) from the College of Wooster and an LLB from the University of London. She speaks English, Krio and conversational French.
