Favourite Quote: “It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” —Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets)

Puhumi is an aspiring lawyer, with an International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma. They are also a proud alumna of the United World College movement which unites students across the races, ethnicities, and nationalities through a common goal of education uniting people for a sustainable future. As a passionate artist, they have previously worked in a gallery in Southern Africa. Art always inspired me and gave me a medium to spread awareness
about the most pressing issues. Having been a feminist, they painted pieces which would raise funds for providing menstrual products for the local community through an indigenous project in the Kingdom of eSwatini. Their role at the SOS children’s village, an international child care NGO, involved teaching children aged between 6 to 12, logistics manager and an administration role to organize various local projects through an original project called pARTicipate. They promoted sensitization of important issues that formal
education lacks in the younger generation. Their experience with organisations started with an Indian nonprofit organization known as CanSupport, one of the largest donation organizations in India, where they organized funds through my high school. They also enthusiastic about photography, hiking and Argentinian Tango! They speak English, Hindi, Korean (intermediate), and are learning Urdu.
