Samreen Alkhair Mohamed Abuidris holds an MA in Human rights and Cultural diversity from the University of Essex, is a candidate for MA in Gender, migration and Multicultural studies from Ahfad University for Women and a 2016 Chevening awardee. She is a human rights practitioner with experience in designing human rights projects and advocacy campaigns. She has previously worked as Democracy and Governance fellow at the African Union Commission, and as a Human Rights officer at the Sudanese Human Rights Initiative. Alkhair has a a special focus and interest in gender issues, child rights freedom and youth engagement. She is fluent in Arabic and English.
