Favourite Quote: “Nobody warned you that the womyn whose feet you cut from running would give birth to daughters with wings.” – Ijeoma Umebinyuo

Ms. Twasiima is a Ugandan feminist lawyer committed to pursuing a legal career centered on human rights, focusing on womyn’s human rights. Patricia also currently works with Chapter Four Uganda. She is one of the founders of Feminist-Kweterana, a collective of young feminists dedicated to movement building and fighting the patriarchy, a permanent writer for Africanfeminism.com, and a member of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Youth for Alternative Policy Think Tank. Patricia believes in ministering radically to the world by articulating the multiplicities of identities through advocating, writing, pushing for change in small and big ways and sometimes, a show of tough love. Patricia has also participated in different forums and dialogues related to advancing the feminist cause including the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), the InternationalWorkshop on Political Feminism on the African continent and Joint Actions, the Forum on Internet Freedom in Africa, among others. Patricia is also a lover of life and red wine. Patricia is fluent in English and a little bit of Swahili, and is currently learning French. She tweets as @triciatwasiima.
