Spirit Companion: La Siguamonta! She is an intrepid and wild character from a Guatemalan folkloric legend, she is half woman and half horse with beautiful long hair.

Favorite Quote: “My energy just couldn’t stop dancing. I was caught up in the music of struggle, and I wanted to dance.”
― Assata Shakur

Davina is a Guatemalan trans woman currently based in Mexico. She studied International Relations and is interested in feminist philosophy, migration studies and body anthropology. She has collaborated with an array of public, private and non-governmental organisations that work at the intersection of democracy, anti-discrimination and human rights through research, advocacy, policy-making and awareness. She is Contemporary Dance student and aspires to use this artistic expression as a means to treat gender dysphoria. In her spare time, she loves watching horror movies, dancing and reading dark poetry. She is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
