Katherine Baird is a young feminist originally from England with a background in campaigns coordination and fundraising for social justice and youth programmes. Kat has a Masters in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh where she wrote her dissertation on the implementation of feminist theories by international development organisations. She spent 2 years as the development officer at Envision, a charity which empowers young people to develop their own community projects. Kat then worked at ShareAction, coordinating environmental and human rights campaigns targeting international investors. Most recently she has spent time working and learning on community sustainability projects in South America and Spain, as well as consulting for several UK social justice NGOs.
