Magdalena (Magda) Ciechanowska is originally from Poland, has lived in Greece before settling in Canada. She is a Human Resources leader with over 15 years of diverse HR experience in both private and public sectors: high tech, professional services, not-for-profit, small business and the federal government. Magda has developed, led and managed HR programs, initiatives and system related projects at both the national and global level. She is a results-oriented individual who has been successful leading both functional and project-based HR teams using a coaching and collaborative style of leadership. She has a Bachelors degree in International Business and is a certified Behavioral Assessment Analyst from McQuaig Institute. In whatever spare time she gets, she raises her 11-year-old son Marty and likes to renovate her 100-year-old cottage in which she lives with Marty. Magda likes travelling, learning French and skiing. She is fluent in Polish and English.
