Maureen, who is from Uganda, is an intersectional feminist with over 10 years’ experience on donor engagement, fundraising and resource mobilization, program design and organizational strategy. She has designed programs on sexual reproductive health and rights, SRHR policy advocacy, feminist and youth rights. Maureen possesses a deep understanding of the global donor, bilateral and multilateral funding mechanisms. She has consulted on programs to prevent domestic and transnational trafficking of women and girls, and increase financial inclusion for communities at the peripherals of society. Maureen has a degree in Business Administration and a certification in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights with a focus on the Contextually Grounded Gender and Youth sensitive approach. Maureen is fascinated by Data and its ability to contribute to decision making processes and more recently, has gained interest in gender lens investing as a means to resource women owned and led interventions. Maureen likes to read and take long trips to nowhere. She speaks English, Luganda, Rukiga and just enough French to order a croissant. She hopes to learn Swahili and improve her French someday.
