Sarah Ashaya Soysa

Sarah Soysa is a passionate young feminist from Sri Lanka with expertise in the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights field with a special focus on Gender. She has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in Sri Lanka and has a masters in Gender and development from the University of Melbourne. Sarah currently works as the coordinator of Commonwealth Youth Gender and Equality Network and as the Sexual and reproductive health coordinator for Doctors of the World in Sri Lanka. Sarah is the founder and director of Youth Advocacy Network Sri Lanka and a youth champion of Asia Safe Abortion Partnership. Sarah is fluent in English, Sihalese and can understand basic Hindi.
