This month, we have a picture that shows the beauty of working together as young feminist activists who may be separated by region but are united by their activism. Earlier last month, two of our grantee partners, Strategic Advocacy for Human Rights (SAHR) from India/Afghanistan and The BuSSy Project from Egypt, collaborated to conduct an interactive workshop in Mumbai, on how to use storytelling in legal justice activism. With experience in legal activism from SAHR and expertise in effective storytelling from BuSSy بصى, the two groups partnered to teach other development workers, human rights activists and lawyers on how storytelling can be an avenue for change as well as a tool for justice. We hope this is just the beginning of many more collaborative work, movement building and solidarity creation in 2017!
