Documenting real life stories of girl activists, this zine offers you the chance to zoom into the hard work and visions of 11 girl-led groups. From advancing sustainable development in Mexico to working against child marriage in Pakistan, these case studies highlight the incredible work that girls are doing in order to change the world for the better.

As a form of appreciation for ourselves as a team, and as a way to document our commitment to redefining self and collective care as more than just a tool for survival, we have collectively developed the Happiness Manifestx– our very own love letter to ourselves and our colleagues at FRIDA.

At the most fundamental level, we feel happiness should be at the center of our feminist organizing.
