Young feminist movements are resourceful, our creative energy is abundant, our resilience is ancestral and our imagination is radical. We are kicking off 2021 by welcoming the largest cohort of Grantee Partners in the organization’s history! In our 7th call for proposals in 2020, we welcomed 93 new grantee partners. This Zine honors the stories and the feminist organizing of all these new grantee partners who continue to resist the oppressive systems imposed on young feminists, everywhere.
Over the past two years, FRIDA has been on a collaborative planning voyage, led by its Change Team, resulting in FRIDA’s new Strategic Framework. As FRIDA draws this phase of participatory planning to a close and we commemorate our 10th anniversary, there is a lot to celebrate. We are a community abundant in gratitude, knowledge, and love. The FRIDA community’s vision reaffirms our commitment to transformation and growth, guided by five strategic principles that will deepen our work with young feminist communities.
