FRIDA at the 60th United Nations Commission for the Status of Women

March 7, 2016

The sixtieth session of the Commission on the Status of Women is scheduled to take place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 14 to 24 March 2016. This year’s CSW has the theme of women’s empowerment and its link to sustainable development.  You can read more about this annual event organized by the UN here.

During the CSW, members of the FRIDA community will be in New York, speaking at several events to raise the issues of young feminist groups and advocate for more resources for their work as part of the larger movement. We have a bunch of events, sessions, discussions and parties coming up.
