Event @ COP22: Climate change and young women´s leadership

FRIDA and the Central American Women’s Fund are excited to present our side-event at the COP22 on November 14th: ‘Climate change and young women´s leadership: links, opportunities, challenges and experiences from the field’

This round table will bring together young feminist activists from Peru, El Salvador, and Morocco to discuss the increased leadership of young women in addressing climate change. The dialogue will explore how climate change has been incorporated in young women’s agenda and how this has promoted the inter-generational and cross-movement dialogue.

María Antonia Recinos Ayala, young feminist woman from El Salvador

Majandra Rodríguez Acha, anthropologist, educator and activist from Peru

Kenza Yousfi, young feminist ethnographer, writer and researcher from Morocco

Moderator:

Maite Smet, Coordinator of the Global Alliance for Green and Gender Action (GAGGA)
