As you know, we have been sharing, sneaking and inserting posts for the last couple of months about FRIDA turning five. In case you missed them, you can click here to read our birthday blog and the story behind our five amazing years (and counting!) of funding young feminist organizing globally.
But today, we want to share the beginning of something beautiful and colorful. As part of our birthday celebrations, we are collaborating with an amazing young feminist artist collective, The Fearless Collective.
This collaboration, or ‘Fearlessly FRIDA’ as we like to put it, is a celebration of the colorful spirit of young feminist organizers around the world who are pushing boundaries, breaking stereotypes and creating new paths towards equality and justice. The Fearless Collective will be joining hearts with some of our grantee partners to create and curate a global artivist intervention. Stay tuned for more!
In keeping with everything we do, we want this celebration to be participatory! And we invite you to to take part in the initial stage of this collaboration and send us posters around the theme of Fearlessly FRIDA: coloring outside the lines.
