FRIDA’s Grantmaking Policy is designed to guide the allocation of funds to young feminist collectives that work toward gender justice. The policy is rooted in a participatory grantmaking approach, where decision-making is shared with the communities FRIDA aims to support. The policy is guided by FRIDA’s Strategic Plan (2020-2030).
FRIDA’s Grantmaking Policy outlines the guidelines that inform how FRIDA approaches and makes decisions on grantmaking on a day-to-day basis. As FRIDA is committed to flexibility, FRIDA’s policies should not be understood as immutable rules, but instead as possible paths to ensure our processes occur in a fair, participatory, and safe way.
